Humanyze Appoints Ellen Nussbaum as New CEO

Company announces new leadership as co-founder Ben Waber moves into role as President

Humanyze, the leader in organizational analytics and workspace design, today announced that the next stage in its business development will be led by newly appointed CEO, Ellen Nussbaum. A seasoned leader in technology and customer success, Nussbaum will drive the company vision forward. Co-founder Ben Waber will remain in a leadership role as President, focusing on long-term strategy, industry education and evangelizing the many business applications of Organizational Network Analysis (“ONA”).

Nussbaum has a proven background as a leader in customer operations and helping take AI-driven, software-based technologies into the next phase of growth. Most recently, she was responsible for achieving financial and customer satisfaction targets as Senior Vice President of Services and Customer Success at Veracode. Previously, she also led consulting and technical teams at software firms including Fidelity Information Services, ProfitLogic, and Oracle. Nussbaum holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and serves on the Board of Advisors of WGBH, a leader in public broadcasting and content creation.

“I am confident that Ellen is the right person to fill out our leadership team and drive execution of Humanyze’s next stage as we expand our global presence. She brings extensive business knowledge and skill sets that we know will complement and enhance our scientific, data-focused backgrounds,” said Waber. “With Ellen’s leadership, we will be better able to serve our enterprise customers, by helping them to implement strong organizational analytics programs and measure their success at scale.”

“I was attracted to Humanyze by the opportunity to grow the company and expand enterprise understanding of ONA. Humanyze offers an industry-leading, data-based offering that is both unique and rooted in positively impacting both the business and its people,” said Nussbaum. “Over the next several months, my goal is to refine our go-to-market strategy and capabilities to help more companies achieve better business outcomes, and to lean in on how our platform empowers companies to make informed decisions and uncover their employee collaboration story.”

The Humanyze Elements® platform uses Organizational Network Analysis to provide companies with objective, never-before-seen insights to inform and validate decisions around workspace design, organizational health, and business process. ONA, the science of studying human social networks, offers a new lens into relationships between groups and helps companies tailor business decisions by revealing the ties between collaboration and organizational outcomes.
